16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER - BASED VIOLENCE

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence Campaign is an international campaign that starts on November 25th - International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and ends on December 10th - International Human Rights Day.
The TPO Foundation commemorates and supports the International Campaign for 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence through various activities. The activities are aimed at raising awareness of violence against women, the causes of gender-based violence, and advocating for non-violent and dignified behavior toward women.

In partnership with primary and secondary schools, we implement activities involving teachers, students and parents to contribute together to combating peer and gender-based violence, to preventing violence, and to empowering women.
The TPO Foundation calls on all citizens to emphasize the importance of social condemnation of violence and the need for more effective action by all institutions responsible for protecting victims and punishing offenders.
Within the 16 days of activism, the TPO Foundation has launched a video contest on the theme of gratitude, is organizing a conference to present the results of the three - year long  Peer and Gender-Based Violence project and school campaigns.
